    the hot air from the pipe keeps the sailor afloat.
    the pedal at the bottom is for releasing any cold air.
    slowly and responsibly, keeping himself calm in such a frightening state of affairs, the sailor fills his one man capsul of a universe with the smoke of survival, floating high towards the unknown.
